The Chicago Indie Film Group typically meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Landmark Century Centre Cinema. We meet as a group, then split up into smaller groups to see several films based on the interests of those who attend. Afterward we retire to a local eatery to grab a bite or drink, discuss the films we saw, and socialize.

The $1 per person fee for our monthly meetup event goes to offset the amount that Meetup charges us each month to use their website. Once you RSVP for the event, you be directed to Amazon to complete payment and confirm your RSVP. We switched to having payment mandatory prior to the end to cut down on the amount of no-shows, so that we don't have to carry cash and change around at the event, and makes it much easier to keep track of who has and hasn't paid. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation with this policy, it enables us to continue organizing this group!

We are always looking for information about local film festivals and other opportunities. If there is an event that you'd really like to attend, please volunteer as an assistant organizer and we'll assist you in getting it together.

We'd like to schedule a weekend event during the month at one of the local art house theaters to take advantage of the resources located in Chicago, so if you have availability and would like to see more offerings please contact us about becoming an assistant organizer.

If you are a promoter and would like to offer free tickets to our members, please post the information on our message board. We do not give access to our mailing list, and may not respond to direct solicitations.
