I really enjoyed this Meetup! Kudos to the organizers as it was well put together!

There where some really good films but I did not like how people talked during the screenings. Was not able to stay to see "One Dollar" because it was getting late. Made some contacts so that was good!
    •  The Short Film Open Mic Night itself is a great idea, and it was really well organized. However, the venue wasn't a good one for this kind of Meetup. There were too many people all around in other parts of the bar who were drinking and making noise. There was no way of hearing any dialogue in any of the movies. I was in the back area (which was the furthest away from the drinkers who weren't involved with the Meetup), and it was still way too noisy to hear anything at all. Again, the Meetup in and of itself is a great idea, and those organizing it seem very enthusiastic about it, and with the exception of the venue, it was well put together. But it needs to be either in a different location, or at a time when the bar won't be filled with other people, or the format has to change to only allow music videos and films that DON'T contain any dialogue that is integral to the enjoyment of the film.
