Detroit Indie Group

When it's your turn to pick movies, does your partner groan?  When raving about the new film you just heard about, does your best friend look terrified and say "It doesn't have subtitles, does it?!"  When you talk about the French New Wave, does your mom tell you she likes your hair the way it is?  Then you might be an Indie film lover.

We get together once or twice a month.   We mostly go to the local art house theaters and we mostly do stuff on the weekends.  Sometimes we also go for a bite or a drink before or after.  Sometimes we talk about the film a lot (especially the good ones).   Sometimes we just all shrug and shake our heads.  But we have a good time together and get to see some really interesting films.

We come from all ages, backgrounds, and locales.  What we have in common is enjoying films that are just a little (or sometimes a lot) out of the ordinary. So please join us!
