Short notice, but worth it!

This film has great buzz, one the new 'major' indies, that has been released in the larger theaters-

Dir. Jason Reitman. 2005. R. 92mins. Aaron Eckhart, Cameron Bright. Gleefully un-PC, Thank You for Smoking coughs up enough cancerous bile to tar anyone who unwisely approaches it with idealistic conviction. The hero, a Big Tobacco lobbyist named Nick Naylor (Eckhart), has little room for scruples, preferring instead to see his opponents as juicy steaks for the chomping. All fall to Naylor's persuasive chatter, but his ultimate target—the movie's most provocative—isn't a lobbying victim at all, but his own prepubescent son (Bright), learning about the joys of morally untethered debate. Welcome to the new face of family values.—Joshua Rothkopf, Timeout New York.

We will be seeing the 7:40pm show.

Hope to see you there,
Bea

The after discussion will be held at:

Blue 9 Burger, 92 Third Avenue, New York, NY (212) 979-0053
