As independent filmmakers, we know how hard it is to find a platform to screen our movies. This group will be a platform for indie filmmakers to screen their movies. The intention of this group is to help indie filmmakers to organize screenings,  to get more people for their screening and help them get some profit from tickets so they can keep making more movies.

Making films is a team effort. New Jersey Filmmakers Network is created to help building a team. Rather than "talking" about making a film, why not gather together and make one. Once a month, we gather together in a space in West Philly that can fit up to 50 people to watch a movie and talk about it. We generally focus on recent dvd releases of foreign, independent, and documentary films. After watching the film together, we have a discussion which usually lasts about 50 minutes.
