Docs In Progress is dedicated to empowering independent documentary filmmakers and educating the general public on documentary film. We do this through a variety of public programs, including moderated screenings of documentary works in progress in Washington DC, Silver Spring, MD and Baltimore, MD; workshops on all aspects of documentary-making and documentary appreciation; and other fun events for documentary filmmakers, aspiring documentary filmmakers, and film afficionados alike.

Cineastes Unite! Join the DC chapter of the Sunday Night Film Club to watch movies, meet other like-minded people, and just have fun! We are a loose collective of people who enjoy discussing movies, actors, directors, music, politics and current events. Don't feel like you have to attend every event.
